”Nicolae Testemitanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy received the grand prize at "Euroinvent"-2025

For the first time, researchers and inventors from Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova won the Grand Prize at the 17th edition of "Euroinvent" - the European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation, which took place in Iasi, Romania, during May 8-10, 2025. 

"Euroinvent offered this award to Nicolae Testemitanu University for its remarkable inventions year after year, this distinction being a crowning achievement of many years of creation and hard work in support of academic research", stated president of the Romanian Inventors Forum Andrei Victor Sandu at the award ceremony organized at our university on May 14. The "Euroinvent" representative has encouraged the researchers to continue their noble activity, assuring that the Romanian Inventors Forum will continue to support the University both in Romania and internationally. 

For this edition, Nicolae Testemitanu University presented 46 works at the exhibition and at the Book Fair, which were appreciated with 63 distinctions, of which 36 medals, including 19 gold, 12 silver and 5 bronze, as well as 16 diplomas of excellence and 10 special awards. 

Our university was represented at the Exhibition by two official delegates – Associate Professor Oleg Solomon and scientific researcher Mariana Jian, authorized representative, who emphasized that invention events offered both possibilities for evaluating scientific achievements and opportunities to strengthen bilateral collaborations. 

In total, inventors and researchers from Romania and 30 other countries participated in the current edition of Euroinvent, presenting over 640 research projects, inventions and innovations. 

The exhibition was organized by the Romanian Inventors Forum, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University, Europe Direct (host structure: Association for Ecology and Sustainable Development), Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Gr.T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, the National Institute for Research and Development for Environmental Protection Bucharest, in partnership with numerous international organizations, with the support of the National Research Authority under the Ministry of Education and Research of Romania.
